Jean Hiron ⎮piano teacher
A pianist and member of several ensembles, Jean Hiron mainly defends the romantic and 20th century repertoire. He is involved in contemporary creation, mediation and openness to the popular repertoire.
Gradually turning away from the formula of the formal concert, he seeks above all to create stories, offering the listener the opportunity to immerse themselves outside of time in an introspective or escapist space.
Trained at the Haute École de Musique de Lausanne (piano, accompaniment) and at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Paris (pedagogy), he adapts his pedagogy to the different profiles and aspirations of the students, with the constant concern to make them autonomous and able to play not only alone, but also in groups.
A specialist in the teaching of musical languages, he places harmonic awareness and inner singing, thought of as the first mode of expression, at the source of his teaching.
